I trust Lori completely with my dog. She is professional, flexible and very easy to work with. What’s most important, though, is that our shy, sometimes nervous dog LOVES Lori and is so excited any time she comes over. I’m so thankful we found Lori and recommend her to anyone who is looking for care for their pet!”

About Lori

loriziggylake.JPG

Minneapolis resident Lori Carlson spent 20 years as a journalist, including work as both an editor and a reporter, in community newsrooms throughout the Twin Cities. In 2017, Lori decided to turn her pet sitting side gig into an official, one-woman business.

Lori takes pride in ensuring your furry family members get the loving care they deserve. She has extensive experience in caring for senior pets and those with health challenges, and continues to expand her knowledge through coursework, seminars and research on companion animal behavior and health.

Lori has lived in the Minnehaha neighborhood of Minneapolis since 2003 with her husband, Jeff, and their four-legged crew.

Lori consistently finds ways to exceed my expectations. She is a true dog lover, she treats my dogs like her own and I know they’re in great hands. Two of my dogs have special medical needs, and Lori is a pro at dispensing their medications and accommodating their special diets. Lori has always been 100-percent reliable and an excellent communicator.
